Per partecipare al seminario non sono necessarie conoscenze specifiche.
La frequenza del ciclo di incontri permette di ottenere 2 CFU (AAF CdS MAA e MAC); incluso anche tra le attività
didattiche del Dottorato AAM.

Programma (sei incontri di due ore ciascuno):
❖ Hurrians in historical sources. Analysis of Hurrian onomastics.
❖ Survey of the texts in the Hurrian language. Writing systems used
for rendering Hurrian and interpretation of Hurrian phonology.
❖ Hurrian nominal morphology. Readings from the Hurrian parables.
❖ Mitanni Hurrian verbal morphology. Readings from the Mittani
letter.
❖ Boğazköy Hurrian verbal morphology. Readings from the Song of
Release.
❖ Hurrian dialects and Urartian. Reading the Old Hurrian Tish-Atal
inscription and a Urartian royal inscription.
